LADIES OF LEGACY 2017
Ladies of Legacy (Formally Ladies Who Launch) is our annual fundraiser that serves both to celebrate the entrepreneurial spirit of women in our community who are achieving their dreams, and honor those who give towards helping fulfill our vision. The fundraiser also aids Limitless Ambition in raising funds to continue our programs and outreach in the area. Last year we had over 100 people in attendance and raised over $1,000!

So much can be said about this self-proclaimed “Projects to the Pentagon” Queen. Candys Mayo, owner of Quinn Engineering & Employment Network LLC captivated us in her early rise as a great performing startup in the Youngstown area. Abbreviated Q.U.E.E.N.-Ohio, she has vanquished the Royal path from the famine and struggle growing up in Youngstown’s public housing to being a registered and cleared Vendor with the Department Of Defense. Her bright smile and bold approach to business processes make her a pleasure to meet and a general badass. Often seen wheeling around her laptop bag in downtown Youngstown, dressed business casual with the e
xception of sporty tennis shoes, this go getter entrepreneur boasts both an impressive working resume and business model. After a 16 year career in Naval Architecture, Candys decided to begin the path of entrepreneurship in mid 2015, shifting gears to focus on the engineering design of microsystems for Aircrafts and Ships. A decorated and seasoned veteran in her field with degrees in Information Systems and Project management, she is a sure asset to any company she does business with. Her Engineering services company is certainly one to watch in the years to come.
"Corporate America can be mean and cruel , especially toward Black Women. My book smarts are what got me there, but my street smarts are what kept me there."
